Dear Father Stephen Lobo,
On behalf of all the participants and of myself, I want to extend to you my heartfelt gratitude for hosting our Advent Retreat on the Message of Our Lady of Guadalupe and its relevance for us today.
We were blessed with a gorgeous, sunny day that allowed us to appreciate the serene beauty of the Monastery, which created the perfect setting for prayer and reflection. The 33 participants who attended deeply appreciated my talks on the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe to St. Juan Diego and her timeless message of hope, love, and faith.
A special thanks to you Father Stephen, for your warm welcome and invaluable assistance in allowing five of us to arrive the night before, and helping us setting up the internet, screen, microphone, and other necessities made the day seamless. Your openness and knowledge enriched the retreat, offering participants the opportunity to approach you for confession, celebrate Mass, and feel at home in the Monastery’s sacred space.
The lunch was not only delicious but also thoughtfully inclusive, with gluten-free options for those who needed them. This attention to detail reflected the spirit of hospitality that we all experienced throughout the day. The retreat became a profoundly blessed way to begin the Advent season, preparing our hearts and minds to celebrate the coming of Christmas with renewed faith and devotion.
Thank you once again for your generosity in hosting us and for all the ways you made this day so special. May Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Thérèse continue to bless abundantly Father Vincent, Father Mario and you, in your important mission at the Monastery.
Looking forward to celebrating together with you, our spring retreat 2025.
